Trafalgar Cottage - Stunning sea view property on beach

The property has lovely views out over the sea and is in a great location

The property, though pretty, needs some serious TLC. The decking is lethal, with quite a few planks loose which our family members fell through on occasion. There is one particularly right outside the front door which was quite frightening. The living room is quite small and the furniture isn’t the most comfortable, for 4 of us it was a bit of a struggle. Some of the plumbing isn’t great, with plugs taking ages to drain and some toilet flushes being very weak. We bought then added drain unblocker to the downstairs bath which helped (after we battled the large clog and black water that followed 🤢), but others we had to manage with. The cleanliness is ok but not spotless and there really isn’t a lot in the property. There wasn’t much of a welcome pack, just some crackers and tea bags, and we couldn’t find scissors, tea towels or washing up liquid. We had a nice time, but we’ve definitely stayed in better and for less money too. Could be stunning with a little bit of care, time and money spent on it.

A lovely home, great location, loved the baths, helpful hosts, all very positive.

There wasnt much but to help for growth... we were sent the wrong code and spent ages trying to get into box, breaking nails and getting very cold. BUT when we called we had great service and care and straight away sorted. We woukd love a shower somewhere in the house. We would have LOVED to have used the fire each evening... The kitchen was poorly equipped and this was disappointing.
