The apartment is spacious and clean with good quality furniture and appliances. The bathroom is very comfortable with heated floor and good ventilation. The view from our room is fantastic. One of my wife dream is to see the Aurora. She has been chasing that dream for 10 years. She went to Australia three times on different road trips trying to see the southern light with no avail. So we decided to fly all the way to Tromso and Mikkelvik hoping to see the northern light instead. On our last night, we got to see the northern light right from our balcony which was awesome. We went on a reindeer feeding tour. We went on a short ferry trip and a bit of driving on a small island to meet our local tour guide. Talking to Johnny, our Sami tour guide, is like a friend sharing stories. He is friendly and genuine. He loves his home and wants to share it with friends. I highly recommend it to experience a bit of Sami’s way of living and get close with reindeers. All staffs are friendly and professional. Elaine took really good care of us. She genuinely wants us to have a good experience staying here. They really thought of small details to make sure we had a good time.

Be sure to do your grocery shopping before you arrive. Our driver picked us up from the airport and made a stop at a store before we left Tromso. There are some essential ingredients like oil, salt, and pepper however it is better to buy on your own grocery.

We are very happy that we choose Mikkelvik Brygge to explore northern Norway and spent good Christmas time with family close to nature. The property is located on a beautiful land along the coast line; with unobstructed views of the sea and neighboring islands covered in snow. Everything was well organized and clean; we booked an entire holiday home and enjoyed sightings of Northern lights right above us! We would like to specially thank Elaine, who made our stay memorable, she took us for Snowshoe hiking tour and we got to explore & admire the surroundings. We also booked the Sauna in their Viking Spa on stormy day with winds as strong as 115kmh!!! Again thanks to Elaine for preparing everything and it shows the entire teams commitment for providing their guests one of a kind experience while making sure they are comfortable and relaxed. The property offers more activities like Reindeer tours, Fjord Cruise, or Quadbike tours which should be booked in advance well in time (and probably not during Christamas). And we are surely going to come back for it :) Overall communication with Oliver, Katja and Elaine went very smooth.

Absolutely nothing

Everything about this place was wonderful. The chalet-style accommodations were cozy and charming, offering complete tranquility. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the chalet had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. Note: The hotel is quite remote, which is ideal for a retreat, but there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. It’s important to come prepared with groceries and essentials.

We had such a wonderful time on Millelvik Bridge. Everything calls for peace, wild beauty, and Artic discovery. The place is very well organised, all the appartement have a stunning view on the fjord , and the Mikkelvik Team where very kind. We went for reindeer’s experience : we cannot forget Johnny the Sami and his animals, who gave us an authentic and true discussion about Saamis way of live. Thank you for the encounter. We took as well the Norwegian Diner, and Katja cooked us such a good diner. Salmon, artic fish and of course … the way you have to Skoll ! ! We saw little auroras, which was the cherry on top of everything. You can go to this place, i guarantee you’ll have the time of your life.

Absolutely NOTHING

It wad my first and the best stay in Norway . Everything was perfect . Location is the best . The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful.
I would like to thank all the team. Our visit to the Reindeer farm was exceptional and unforgettable adventure. Our stay was extended for 1 extra day for free due to snow storm . We will definitely come back in the future.
