Villa Gaia

Location, view, barbecue.

Villa Gayá is really a nice place, but the hygiene is quite bad. I had written to the owner on the first day but actually nothing happened. (I had written for wi-fi problems as well and they were solved on the next day). The third bathroom is in bad condition, the other two are renovated and are ok, only the hygiene was not ok. Dust and long hairs from previous guests were found in many places in the villa.

Having a pool was great to jump into after a day of travelling around or being in the sea. The pictures don’t do the property justice size wise, the pool area is so big as are the rooms etc. There was loads of space for everyone as there was 8 of us so we weren’t getting in each others ways. We travelled there in 2 cars and we could park them inside easily. Indoor and outdoor cooking facilities we very handy for when we ate at the villa. The beach, tavernas, supermarkets all within a handy driving distance, wouldn’t recommend walking it during the summer as it was nearly 40 and the way back is uphill. The location is a great base for exploring further into the Peloponnese, Mani, etc

2 of the rooms didn’t have air con which was quite disappointing, there were also no fans to make up for it either

We loved the pool. The rooms were nice and clean. Perfect for a weekend with the family. The only reason why I am not rating it a 10 is that it was advertised as equipped with three bathrooms but it only has two, which is a bit misleading. I asked the landlady about the third bathroom, and she said no there are only two bathrooms. Maybe the description of the accommodation needs updating.

Ther is no salon in the house. One bathroom is old fashioned.Ther is different quality in bathrooms -two modern and one old.No dishwasher.

the locaation is great!! good deal of peace and trranquility!!

we had a little trouble finding the house and hotel, but, at last, everything was perfect!! and the living room is small for 6 persons

The pool was cleaned every morning. The rooms were cozy. The kitchen was fully featured. The terrace was the best place to spend our time for our group. I strongly recommend it.

The only bad thing was the coffee maker that took literally hours to make a batch of coffee, but you could always make some faster by using the stove.

the house has great potential but unfortunately some of the amnesties were broken and only the air conditioning got fixed quickly upon our request

the landlord wasn’t too responsive to our problems. internet broke down for 2 days and other small issues
