"A little slice of country perfection"

Beautifully finished property with so many lovely welcoming touches. Paul and Fiona were very gracious hosts. The cottage was spotlessly clean and cleverly designed. Unfortunately the great Scottish weather prevented full enjoyment of the outdoor space but the hot tub was sheltered so could still be enjoyed in the rain. This is a really special, get away from it all, establishment.

Being taller you certainly had to be careful of the door heights

"Amazing stay"

This was hands down the nicest place we have stayed on booking.com. We didn't want to leave. So beautiful, clean, great facilities. Felt very relaxed. The firkin inn was like a mini night out and the hot tub is fabulous. Hosts are excellent and so accommodating. Thankyou so much, we will be back

"a perfect break away from it all"

Gorgeous interior and the garden and hot tub were the icing on the cake! The hosts were helpful with getting us settled in and it was the perfect break to get away from it all - location is pretty remote which was perfect for what we wanted - lots of nice places to visit if you have a car. We did day trips to Hodom Castle and Lochmaben for dog walks.

"Over all a Superb weekend away."

I bought this for my mum and dads Christmas. They absolutely loved their weekend away. Said it was so tranquil. The place was absolutely spotless, comfortable and all the addes extras just made it perfect. The late check out free of charge was just the icing on the cake. Thanks again Paul and fiona Will be booking again ...for me this time 😀

In truth we couldn't fault anything...but tall people beware....there is a low doorway....mind how you go😄
