The location is just perfect, views are incredible! Big house where you can find everything you need and more :) Nice yard and barbecue zone with a swimming pool.

The size and location were amazing. Lots of supplies. Easy access.

There was a mildew smell, maybe because it was early in the season and it is on the water.

The house has everything we need. We even experienced Portuguese style barbecue!! Mosteiros might be more beautiful in summer. Love to visit again.

Spacious house with a lot privacy and calm surrounding, walking distance to, seaside ( piscinas naturales) shop and village.

The sunset view from the balcony is awesome and the house really is massive. The nautical themed bedroom went down a storm with the kids. It was near enough for us to explore various major attractions on the island from the villa. The space was a real treat for us and the kids loved having a pool just for them.

The house is very damp with a musty smell to it which made it feel a little less comfortable. (I presume this is because it is not occupied for large periods of time and therefore not aired enough.) There were only enough chairs for 2 people by the pool for eating a meal using the outside kitchen table but far too many sun loungers. I would have expected a welcome hamper or starter pack for a property of this type but there wasn't anything. Check in was not done in person but just with a key code.

Great location in the village. Could walk easily to see great views and go to shops or restaurants. Feels very homey. Very well set up with everything you need. Friendly neighborhood. Beautiful view from the balcony. Owner was very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Be prepared for the wind at this corner of the island. It does make great waves to watch though. Perhaps it was the time of year that we were there ( March)

We stayed for three nights at the end of December. The house is big, with a very spacious kitchen, dining, and sitting area. We cooked several meal and the kitchen area functioned very well. The view towards the ocean from the kitchen is great and you never get tired of it. The minimarket just down the street came in very handy. You can easily walk to the natural swimming area and just watch the incredible surf or get a cocktail at Sunset Steve.

The beds are very soft which for us isn't great. The coffee maker leaked. The bedrooms are quite dark. The one outlet in the downstairs bathroom was hidden behind a large mirror and I did not feel comfortable removing the mirror to access it.

Our host was friendly, flexible and attentive. He was responsive whenever contacted. The location of the house was incomparable, offering a magnificent view over the fishing harbour and the islet Monastery (after which the village is named). One of the 2 village shops was 50m away. This is no small thing because we had many dinners with provender from this small but well stocked store. Beside the the church, in the town square, is the main café - an excellent place to down an espresso and sweetcake. I preferred the lemon 'queijada'.
