A wonderful place in the hub of the city, yet on the edge of the countryside

Well situated for Salisbury attractions including the cathedral, museum and the lovely two mile walk around the water meadow that our host recommended! The house was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Thoughtful touches like coffee, bread sticks, milk, tea biscuits and apples provided. Big Sainsbury's 6 minutes walk away so we need not have brought a carload of food!

As others have mentioned, finding a parking space close by was unreliable, although we managed to park almost outside, and were grateful for the parking permit William provided (£5 per day seemed reasonable). But that's going to be the case for any property in the centre of Salisbury, almost none have designated parking. It's the price you pay for a central location, from which you can walk to all the sights.

Lovely house, very clean and nicely presented, excellent location. Very easy walk to the city centre, theatre and pubs etc. The host was very good - excellent communication.

Wonderful hosts, fully equipped apartment with every small things needed. The milk in the fridge and apples were a nice touch! Very close to train station, but on quiet street. Beautiful place, nice to be there.

We loved it! It was spacious and comfortable, managed that often tricky balance of tasteful and characterful decor, and the upstairs roof terrace was particularly lovely.

this was a full house. The 3 of had previously stayed in a 1-bedroom flat and a tiny 2-bed hotel room. this was large with living spaces to play cards, watch tv, sit outside and enjoy tea, or on the upstairs deck in sun chairs. it was great. great location, too. can’t get closer to the train station and sites to see are very walkable. it was a fun stay and a lovely town

we had a small glitch that power was partially out one morning. I notified William who responded immediately and raced down from London to fix the issue promptly. while there, he gave advice on more walks and sites to see. super accommodating.

Extremely clean and comfortable with beautiful decor throughout. Lots of extra touches to make it comfortable.

The property was very well appointed and very homely, with lots of little touches such as games, coffee pods etc. The location was brilliant, within walking distance of the Cathedral & Magna Carta, shops and restaurants.

Parking was a little challenging and not as convenient as we were expecting it to be but the central location of the property more than made up for any inconvenience.
