Baan Porhdoi Goidao

The location was great for us. We were just heading through for 1 night between Pai and Chiang Rai. The owners were warm and welcoming. The view was outstanding and the huts were cute and well positioned for awesome photos. We had dinner in the cafe (kitchen closes at 6pm) It was fresh and delicious. Thai sausage, pad thai and basil pork stir fry! Breakfast was excellent, there was only 1 option Rice and pork porridge soup, fruit and a boiled egg with tea or coffee. It was by far the best breakfast of our trip so far! The bed was firmer than we usually like but the pillows were amazing which changed the whole feeling of the mattress, we slept great. FYI- Remember to pack mosquito repellent (being set over a rice field there are mozzies)

The hose in the toilet is really really powerful, be careful where you aim that thing and how hard you pull the trigger. Aesthetically bifold door are great but they don’t often seal and you can’t put fly screens on them. We didn’t have a mosquito net in our room, we could’ve asked for one (but didn’t) I’m sure they would’ve had a spare. Lucky we had repellent as we had a few mozzies sneak in overnight.

The view and surrounding is amazing. I wish I could come back in the winter. This place makes you feel so relaxing and enjoy the nature without sound of cars or noisy, hearing the bird cirping in front of the cottage is a bonus.

Toilet that I prefer to have the wet separate from dry zone.

This was the most peaceful place with the friendliest Hosts we have ever been to. Amazing views, in the middle of rice fields, with flowers surrounding us and Mountain views. There is a Koi Fish pond at the small Coffee Shop. The Mookata Dinner was delicious as was the Breakfast. The night was quite and we had the most relaxing time. We highly recommend this place and hope we have a chance to come back one day.

The staff were very nice. The accommodation has a beautiful view for chill and watching sunset. The breakfast is simple, not for vegan. During the night, you can hear all animals, but it’s not a problem at all, it sounds as jungle. Thank you for our stay.

The spider web on chandelier could be swept away.
