"Superb place to chill out"

I liked the secluded village location surrounded by flora and fauna. Absolutely no traffic noise. The rustic feel of the thatched cottage.

I had difficulty in starting the log fire.

"Quiet location, plenty of outdoor space though we were unlucky with the weather."

Good location, lots of outdoor space. Bedrooms were good. Log burner brilliant but second bag of wood a bit damp.

The kitchen & the bathroom: nowhere to dry towels ( only 2 provided for 4 of us). The fridge was minuscule & could not cope with provisions for 4. No tea towels provided. Bathroom & kitchen need upgrading. Garden not dog proof, dogs soon found their way round end of fence near the chickens.
