Watersmeet cottages

Lovely hosts with a visit from Tash (the friendly golden retriever) being a bonus. Beautiful location, with good fishing and easy access to Dullstroom. Another added bonus were the visit from the resident Zebra.

Beautiful location, tranquil and relaxing. Cottage was cosy, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Really enjoyed the fireplace. Kitchen was more than adequate for our needs. Hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Lovely, friendly dog visited us each day. Nature walks were great and fishing was relaxing. Good facilities nearby at the hotel and in the quaint town. Lovely place for a breakaway from city life.

Beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage was well equipped and homely. Wish we'd had longer.

Very neat accomodatio with everything you need.

Everything was great. We did find the bed a little hard but that is personal preference.

Watersmeet cottage location was awesome, beautiful views, quiet and great trout fishing dams. (catch & release) If you are into hiking there are lots of trails . The hosts, Patsy & Allen were excellent. Cottage is self-catering & the kitchen facilities were great. Microwave, Gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and dishwasher. (dishwasher tablets provided) Outdoor built in braai. Beautiful veranda with great view. Very relaxing One can get breakfast. lunch or dinner at the Walkerson's Hotel. Great selection of food. Recommended. Lovely scones & cream for tea and beautiful views from the hotel. Booking a table recommended.

The accommodation was great . The only item I would bring next time is a sharp cooks knife.

The peace and tranquillity of this beautiful cottage in beautiful surrounds lived up to our expectations (and more!). Hosts were very welcoming and informative. The house has everything that you need. We enjoyed horse riding in the nature reserve, walking trails and the kids loved playing in the stream.

Loved Watersmeet - we stayed inn Feathers. What a beautiful, clean, homely place. Andrew and Patsy were so welcoming. Its a safe place to walk and rest. We will be back!
