"Disappointing Stay"

5.0

The look of the property on arrival, the fish pond and the garden

Maintenance of the building is very poor, bathroom on top not clean( bath & shower dirty), blinds broken, no bed side lights not functioning in top bedroom, basin towel emitted an unpleasant odor, single beds very uncomfortable and found it impossible to sleep with the extremely noisy location with constant traffic of trucks

"As an overnight stay it had everything we needed and very pretty surroundings."

7.0

We had a self catering unit so were given suggestions on where to eat and found the restaurant very warm and welcoming. Loved the scenery surrounding the cottage.

The 4 of us were in a 4 sleeper unit, yet the lounge area only had seating for THREE. We had paid for firewood and all wanted to sit around the fire, but there wasnt enough seating. Also noticed there were only THREE chairs outside on the patio???
