The property was extremely spacious with plenty of facilities. The best thing was the view looking straight out into the bay from the balcony. The host met us and was brilliant in explaining everything to us; they had also put in lots of back ups for the current power sharing.

View to die for. Quiet area. Everything was just great! Beds and bedding is of good quality. And the braai area is just amazing! A true gem!

The fact that I only stayed for one night! Wished I could stay for a week. Coffee/tea availability would have made the stay perfect. Although it is self catering, coffee and tea items would have been great.

Comfort of the accommodation, lovely gas oven, microwave even a dishwasher. Huge bonus of washing machine, dryer, electric blankets, wall panel heaters, hairdryer, clean attractive bed linen, owner was very helpful showing us everything. We chose it for the space and view but it delivered so over and above even with the strong wind we could watch the sea through the closed sliding door. Next time we will use the oven when it's too cold to braai. This time we ordered pizza and the huge microwave made reheating easy. The path outside going for miles was wheel hair friendly. We felt very safe with security who actually popped by as did the owner when we forgot the safety gate open. We loved everything so much we plan to return with even more friends. We were six but it sleeps 12. Highly recommend.

We were a little disappointed there were no teabags or coffee sachets. I had previously brought groceries but not sugar so had to go out again to buy that. But there was sunlight liquid for dishes so we washed up by hand as no dishwasher discs. A small inconvenience though. Shops are close enough. The steps were easy to climb with good hand holds. ( my husband is disabled) but a bit of a chore to carry groceries upstairs to the kitchen. We struggled to lock the sliding doors the catches kept unlocking. But it seemed safe enough being upstairs. Everything else locked fine. Our bathroom tap one was stiff and only trickled out but the shower was great and spacious.
