Smoky Sunrise Getaway

The view, the view, the view. The interior space and design was thoughtful and relevant to today’s needs and creature comforts, and the wildlife was thriving.

We were on the top floor so the upstairs loft space got a bit toasty in the summer (almost expected!), but after opening the windows at night and using the fans they provide in the room, it helped to cool it down so we didn’t mind. The downstairs stayed the perfect temperature.

Loved everything about it the view was absolutely impeccable! Will definitely be back!

I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like to be honest

Hardwood floors.

No air upstairs. Property wasn’t cleaned good. Housekeeping needs to do a better job of cleaning.

Fantastic view. Charming facility.

Maintenance folks arrived unexpectedly to change batteries in remotes and air filter. Notice would’ve been preferred. But more importantly, the crew were not appropriately dressed at all (pajama pants, no logo clothing, no id cards, nothing), and asked to enter the room! How are we supposed to know they’re actually maintenance people?

The drive to gatlinburg

The only thing I did not like was the spiral staircase I wouldn’t go up it but it was only my husband and I and the first floor was plenty. The view was amazing. The drive up to the place was crazy but fun.
