Cosy Skye Cottage

Ensemble très cosy et très bien équipé Cottage très bien chauffé (sol chauffant ) ce qui est très agréable vu les températures extérieurs !

Le cottage n’est pas si isolé ! (Maison à proximité ! Poubelles non vidées à côté porte entrée (et bouteilles ) et bcp de papiers dans le terrain à notre arrivée Nous aurions apprécié d’être prévenu avant notre arrivée du fait qu’il ne fallait absolument pas consommer l’eau du robinet

Non aveva acqua potabile.. per il prezzo che si paga, mi pare il minimo. Pare fosse un guasto improvviso. E non c’è nemmeno un phon

Magnifique maison, très cosy, spacieuse et très calme. En plus, elle est très bien située pour visiter l'île de Skye. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille et nous recommandons cette maison.

The communication we had with the owners when we originally booked was amazing, with them generously offering many suggestions for places we might go to over Hogmanay on Skye. This gave us such a good feeling about how lovely a time we would have at Cosy Skye Cottage at this special time of year...but sadly our stay there did not live up to these early expectations.

A glitch on my booking.com app on my phone meant that I stopped receiving new notifications on my phone in the lead up to our time on Skye and therefore couldn't get the details the owners had messaged to us about the pin code for the key box. I went back to them via email and text highlighting the seriousness of this situation, but simply got the message that they'd sent the code already. I typically don't travel with my laptop, and we were only saved by the fact thar this holiday I had brought it with me and was able to access the booking.com app that way and get the key box code. But what a really unnecessary stressful start to what was meant to be a very special time on Skye :( Other aspects we found disappointing were the 6pm check in time...that is 2 hours after dark in the middle of winter! Requests for a slightly earlier check in were never responded to, nor was my query on how to get the hot water system working in the ground floor shower, meaning that we were unable to use that shower for the duration of our stay :( And to this day, 2 weeks later, we have still not had any response to our texts sent to the emergency contact number!?! Another more petty point, but relevant at Hogmanay of all times...the only glasses to enjoy some bubbly to see the new year in were 5 mismatched wine, brandy and beer glasses!?! Really not good enough....Absolutely not worth the £1000 we paid :(

El camino de entrada, para un día de mucha lluvia es un poco peligroso.

L'Atmosfera familiare e accogliente. Il panorama bellissimo e rilassante, con tante belle pecorelle in vista. Il comfort e la cura degli ambienti, la grandezza della casa con 3 camere, 2 bagni, cucina spaziosa, soggiorno e possibilità di fare la lavatrice e l'asciugatrice. Siamo stati benissimo!

La cucina non era dotata di pentole o padelle per cucinare in modo autonomo. Non è stato però un problema per noi perché siamo stati solo due giorni.
