Derinda House

The unit was very clean and the appointments were very nice. A beautiful home to stay in for a couple of days.

Our stay was too short.

It is in the beautiful town of Elizabeth. Sandy was a great hostess. Very pleasant and she had all kinds of pamphlets for things to do in the area and Galina.

Nothing could have been better. It was perfect.

Comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed having a glass of wine and charcuterie on the deck overlooking the yard. The tree frogs provided an interesting symphony. Breakfast was delicious!

Derinda House was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the decor and sitting on the peaceful deck. Breakfast, which comes with every Stay, was delicious. Sandy kindly accommodated our vegan request. We loved our stay.

This was my first stay at a B&B & it couldn’t have been better. Sandy was an exceptional hostess with superb breakfast making skills, excellent communication & a beautiful home & property. She gave us great recommendations in nearby Galena (Otto’s was delicious!) & made sure our stay was flawless. 10/10 would stay again, I am still thinking about those wonderful breakfasts!

No complaints!

Charming and lovingly maintained independent living area with a complete kitchen and all the accessories one might need throughout. The location is rural, quiet and beautiful with easy access by car to nearby Galena and the Mississippi River as well as numerous parks and natural reserves for walking, sightseeing, etc. Our hosts were as accommodating as they were discreet; the breakfasts were abundant, delicious and healthy, including homemade baked treats, and served at our convenience.
