Very spacious, good location

The house was clean and comfortable, ideal for sightseeing. The owners were very welcoming, and the welcome basket was a nice touch

Excellent location for Edinburgh park and ride, Falkirk wheel and Kelpies and Stirling. Nice quiet location, friendly locals and good local information provided by the owners.

More greenery in the garden would be nice

Home from home, that we returned to for a second time. Central for travelling around the area.

The location was good for visiting family, Glasgow, and Edinburgh Facilities were good for self-catering with a large clean fridge and freezer, separate washing machine and dryer, and there was also a dish washer if needed and washing tablets Parking on public road was available to us for our stay, near the front door Plenty of dvds and family games provided Catherine was quick to reply to us before and during our stay, and there was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived with gluten-free goodies and gluten-free bread, butter, and milk in the fridge.

We did not like the double bed mattress. There was no support or comfort for a couple to sleep together. I slept in the double room. My daughter and wife slept in the twin room The single beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the oven was not cleaned. Two of our family are coeliac, so the cooking facilities are important when we travel. Catherine had the oven cleaned the following day, but it would need a deep clean beforehand, so the oven cleaner smell is gone before use. A few more teacloths would be good as well.

The simplicity and flexibility of the property. The washing machine. How quiet the area was.

We loved everything about this house. The location is great for road trips, parking is just in front of the house. The house is filled with all necessities you would need for the stay. A perfect home feeling.
