Beautiful little cottage, super friendly owners, loads of info about the local area. It’s quaint and homely, I didn’t mind the typical Welsh weather and spending a few days inside as it was a lovely home.

Host was very friendly and lovely to talk to. Very helpful when it came to suggesting places to go for food. A delicious cake was supplied for us on arrival and a supply of wood for the log burner. House was very clean on arrival with everything needed for the stay and fresh milk in the fridge for making drinks. Stunning views from the master bedroom and beautiful location in general. Lots to do withing an hour drive if the property with stunning places to walk. Would have loved to see the show caves but spaces fill up quickly so I'd recommend booking several weeks in advance. Would 100% recommend!

The only downside I can say is really just an inherent issue with the location. If you're a nervous driver then parking, especially at night, may pose problems as the driveway is very steep and narrow. You either need to turn around at the end of the lane to pull into the drive forwards and then reverse out after, or reverse down to the house requiring you to turn around at the end of the lane when leaving as the lane is too narrow to turn off the drive. This is only really a small issue and no fault of the property owner, just one of those quirks that the location creates.

Felt so at home here, Helen was very accommodating and the house was beautiful.
