Goldleaf Hill -Spa Pool -Lake Views- 4 Bedrooms

The location was exceptional! The pictures do not do justice - it is way beautiful and spacious in person. The house has a nice layout making our stay very comfortable (3 couples).

Nothing! Well, we had to leave, that’s the sad part.

We paid a premium price for this location. We are a family of 5, 3 adult daughters with us (22, 21, 18). We really wanted a view, this has a spectacular view! We wanted a hot tub, we used a few times. The property has NO frills, no amenities besides a few rolls of toilet paper and bath towels, The kitchen is stocked with all serving pieces you need for a meal, and salt and pepper and some starter coffee. You need to provide everything else. We did a big order from Wollworths, you have to create a profile and they deliver, this was nice, as we were there for a week.

They could have supplied spices in kitchen, olive oil, napkins or paper towels, maybe another chair in the tv room, maybe some games or a deck of cards. We were there for Christmas, if I were the host, I would have left a little something. Even a candy cane.....something to make us feel special. It doesn't take much :)

Balcony was nice

Hot water tank was too small. Not enough towels. Slippery shower first floor. Location was hard to park. Image showed the entire building when booking however it was a shared property with shared driveway.

Just the location

Very poor hospitality, they don’t even care to keep things in order, even kept one battery in almost all the remotes (looked deliberate) and blamed previous guests. Spiders everywhere, not even kept toilet papers and when asked management lady was rude and said they don’t provide anything beyond a day. We stayed for 5 days and they charged us fortune. Don’t fall for their glorified pictures, it’s very old, rusty, untidy property with things don’t even work like dish washer, TV. Don’t even have a cloths dryer.
