"Beautiful, quiet location with everything you need."

10.0

The location was beautiful and quiet. The cottage had everything needed for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would have in your kitchen at home. A fresh loaf of bread, some marmalade pots and a pint of milk were waiting for us. The hosts were really nice too.

Nothing other than the bedroom ceiling was lower than expected but you only go there once a day and it wouldn't put me off going back for another visit.

Nice open space, well equipped, comfortable bed. Lovely garden - even in November. Helpful and friendly proprietors.

Nothing negative to report.

"Ideally positioned to visit everything we wanted to see, lovely hosts, cosy comfortable cottage."

10.0

We loved everything. The location was great for getting to places of interest and we were out all day every day. The cottage was beautiful, from the layout to the décor to the mirrors and artworks, it was also very warm and cosy (we were there from 27/10 to 02/11). The garden was also really pretty and we were disappointed not to be able to use it (a combination of only being there in the dark and the wet weather). Parking was easy, the sofas and bed were comfortable the kitchen had everything we needed and the shower was powerful.

I guess if we had to criticise anything it would be the low beams in the bedroom. My 6' 1" husband managed but it might be difficult if you were much taller. We adapted after the first night and it wouldn't put us off returning or recommending the cottage, but it was the only slight negative.
