Location was great , walking distance to Town Centre & easy access to major roads. Kitchen well set up with good equipment. Fans in bedrooms helped with air circulation. Good supply linen & lovely outside eating area, easy rear car parking access. Hosts directions to property very good. Easy to follow.

Didn’t realise it was on major road into town, so unable to have windows open most of the time because of noise & car fumes. Built in 1886 so v steep & awkward internal staircase. Big minus was no laundry facilities. I called host who stated it wasn’t advertised with washing machine & they had replaced it with a dishwasher in kitchen instead. When I asked where was the nearest laundromat I was told I don’t know - Google it, I’m on holidays. As we’d been travelling (internationally) for a week and had quite a lot of laundry, this response wasn’t helpful or welcoming. We were also staying in this location for 10 days. PS We didn’t use the dishwasher once.

House was spotless and has everything you could need, beds extremely comfortable, great location walking distance to central Shrewsbury.

Lovely little house, nice modern decor. close to Shrewsbury and the train station. good kitchen and nice big TV. bonus having a car parking space in the back car park. loved it here, would definitely come back.

Didnt get the email with the lock box code or wifi password but hosts were quick to respond when we requested this on arrival. Lovely little cosy cottage, clean and plenty of towels, bedding soap etc. Shower was a bit temperamental and the hot water cut out on occasion.

Very minor - no tea pot or bread knife.

I really liked the house

The location was just a few short blocks from the historic area. There was a place to park the car behind the house. The set-up was weird, but the kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable.

The host forgot to give us arrival and check-in info, leading to some anxiety when we arrived in Shrewsbury and couldn't find the unit or parking and didn't know how to access the key. We called Booking.com, which was not helpful at all. Fortunately, the host called us back quickly, and we got in. However, it would have been nice to have some sort of Welcome Guide for visitors.

This was our second visit and we would recommend this lovely cottage highly
