Siesta Key Beach - Tropea 665 #3

We had a great experience! We are looking to rent there again next year!

Hidden Gem! Directly in front of beach access, private, and gorgeously updated inside. Comfy beds!!! They have a Fan (thank the Lord!) I generally just “need one!” I- pad on the wall was a nice added feature. It gave you ideas of places to go, provided maps, and gave you direct access to the host if you needed to report anything . There were walk-in closets, a washer and dryer bonus, a pantry, and an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off! This place was gorgeous inside and so unexpected! Don’t skip it for the value! New appliances, fresh paint, updated features throughout, and “very Responsive Hosts!” The office staff were some of the kindest I’ve encountered! They agreed to hold our bags when we couldn’t check in yet. So much good to say <3

Parking was tight but do-able with the tiny car we had. Hot Water heater was scalding and no cold water, but maintenance came and adjusted it to “tolerable.” No full mirror on property, so you can’t check your outfit :( easy fix, just bring one! One roll of toilet paper given no matter how many days you stay, it’s not technically included. They did kindly bring us another :)

It was so easy with the door code. We didn’t need to rush on our schedule to meet someone to get the keys. The door code idea is perfect.

Location was decent

Parking was to small for car

Only a 1 minute walk to the beach, tv with subscriptions.

Bed sheets holes in them

The location was a perfect 2-minute walk to Siesta Key Beach and about a 15-minute walk to the strip on Ocean Blvd with tons of shops and restaurants.

The bed was not the most comfortable. We found a semi-dead cockroach in the kitchen in addition to a lizard in the bathroom that was very much alive which made us uneasy to stay another night. We contacted property management about it requesting a refund and they said they wouldn’t do anything about it. In additional, there was 1 roll of toilet paper provided for the entire house, 1 trash bag, and 1 roll of paper towel. The ice machine hardly produced any ice so that was an added cost we had to go out and buy. In addition, on day 2, someone came into the unit after knocking to replace the air filter, which should’ve been done before we arrived.
