Amazing location overlooking the water and beach.

Fantastic house tucked away on the slopes. You feel completely at home with every need thought of and catered for. The outdoor kitchen has a gas stove and a barbecue including a stone sink with water and washing up liquid. The outdoor shower is super for washing off the sand. Indoors there is a fridge with a small freezer compartment and it was already stocked with bottles of water and wine ❤ Again many extras such as salt, pepper, oil and herbs. Hand soap in the bathroom and spare bin bags were also supplied. The house is about a 1.3km drive from the main road and then about a 50m walk from the parking area. The walk is very steep but Spiros took our bags down and then back up at the end of our stay. Completely worth it for the location and the beach is only another 2mins walk downhill and you have it almost to yourself. The door to the sun deck has an insect screen so you can listen to the waves from the sea sing you to sleep. Others have commented on the bed being too firm but I found it perfect so I think it's just a matter of personal preference. Spiros and his wife were so welcoming and helpful I would definitely recommend their holiday home for your trip to Corfu.

Spiros, the charming owner, met us at the meeting point on time and took our luggage to the house for us which was great. He can take one passenger in his car.. He also did the same when we left. The sea view from the patio is spectacular (even from the bed). It was in a very tranquil and peaceful location immersed in nature. Only a short (but very steep) walk to the beach which is sandy and quiet. There are a few other houses around but you are not aware of them. The bed was comfortable. There are sunloungers and plenty of areas to sit, cook outside, outside shower after the beach, sun umbrellas. It's close by car to Agios Gordios. It's also very secure.

The walk is more like 100m. No cooking facilities in the studio apartment - only outside.

The house was very remote and not easy to get to but the view and the almost private beach next to it were worth it! You can walk to the beach 3-4 mins down the hill. A great plus for us was that you can borrow beach umbrellas. A stove to cook is outside but it adds more charm to the house. AC works very well. The cat Nikos was very friendly.

You need to walk up or down the hill to the parking spot. it’s not possible to park next to the house.
