Pebble Cottage

The location is great, close to the woods and facing west for the evening sun. We went during term-time so it was lovely and peaceful and the walks in the woods are lovely.

We were a little confused when we arrived because the property is called Pebble Cottage, but there was another name on the building. The wood walks need some hard core putting down on them because when it rains it is very muddy and not everyone brings wellies with them on holiday! Also, the dogs were in a right state and it was difficult to clean them when we did not have our usual dog cleaning facilities like we would have at home. The living area would be more comfortable if there was a larger sofa. Trying to squeeze two adults on one of them was a tad difficult.

location , wild life e.g , Squirrels , rabbits . good base to explore Cornwall. cottage had lovely hotel quality towels and bedding. great shower. icing on the cake was the under floor heating which we used in the bathroom area.

if We had a much longer stay there was no washing machine. we were unaware that the site had a swimming pool and wished we had known so we could have brought swim wear.

Litter on patio.

The property is exactly as in the pictures , very clean and with all we needed it to enjoy our stay. The cottage is part of a holiday park which was a lovely surprise since we could benefit of all the facilities of the village such as swimming pool, a restaurant and bar, a shop and playground but also a game’s room and free parking. There were many activities for children and adults every day . The property is also very close to the many attractions in the area. Also, the host send me a message with instructions of how to arrive to the property which was very helpful. The price we paid was worth it and if we will go again in that area we will definitely choose this property again.
