Beach Retreat

Clean and spacious, everything we needed was provided

A little out of Whitstable but off road parking was a bonus

We liked the house. It is spacious, Well maintained and had all we needed. As a bonus there were some toys for our little one. Garden was cosy and we enjoyed the barbecue. Location was good, with a local shop (walking distance) and big supermarket 5 min by car.

Lovely location. Great to have off road parking. Good sized enclosed garden which was ideal for the dog and grandchild. Liked the open plan living/dining/kitchen - good space for us all to relax in. All the basics were there to get you started including, toilet roll, washing up liquid, tablets etc. Sinead, the host was great and so helpful.

Overall everything was very good. If there was one thing that perhaps could have been better was the cleaning. Some dirty spoons in the drawer, cobwebs hanging in the living area. Sofa was starting to look a bit tired in places and bathroom looks like there has been a water issue at some point. Nothing that affected our stay though and would certainly stay again. Would have been 10/10 otherwise. Would still go 9/10 though.

The property is beautifully decorated, very comfy sofa and beds, lots of cupboards, excellent grill for a good barbecue, excellent kitchen with everything we need. Excellent back garden area. Very good tv screen and streamings available. The host was amazing and very accommodating with my requests. The check in very easy and straightforward. The location was good, walking distance to Tankerton beach. We will definitely come back!

The double bed was a bit challenging for two persons. The drain in the bath tube was not working properly, but those were minor issues compared to the beautiful and comfy house. We felt at home!

The house was beautiful and a lovely spacious place. It was in a very quiet residential road but the main road at the end was on the bus route into Whitstable which was super convenient with buses every 20 minutes. Within a 10 minute walk was the beach at Tankerton and the promenade all the way to Whitstable which is about a 40-45 minute walk. There was plenty of off-road parking. We didn't have the heating on much at all but the house was very warm. Great bathroom and shower.
