"Very good"

8.0

Location was excellent - walking distance to high street, park for the dogs and the harbour and seafront. Decor and cleanliness of the house was impeccable, amenities were well provided and plenty of utensils and cooking equipment etc in the kitchen. Nice courtyard garden which was a sun trap and lovely for pre-dinner drinks or morning coffee- overall, a lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. Would rebook again if heading to Whitstable in the future

I know a few reviews mentioned the stairs being steep - but I was quite surprised at just how steep they were - especially up to the loft room - they were extremely narrow and extremely steep treacherous for a fit and healthy adult so would not be suitable for children or anybody without very good mobility. I would say the cottage was tight for us with 6 adults but we managed for the long weekend. The only bathroom is downstairs through the kitchen- not an issue for us but again, something to be aware of for children/less mobile adults. Parking took a while to find a space so is a bit tricky but we did unload opposite then found spaces without having to pay a few streets away. None of the above would prevent me booking again, but should be made clear as may not be appropriate for every type of group looking to stay here
