I Trulli della Massaia

Goede Trulli met een goede ligging. Wel minder speciaal als verwacht. Lijkt gewoon op een huisje met kleine plafonds, minder feeëriek als ik dacht.

Staying in a Trullo is a truly unique experience — the short hallways opening into cavernous rooms felt magical, and the accommodation itself was lovely, roomy, and able to fit four or more comfortably. We loved being surrounded by history, and the novelty of the architecture alone made it worth the visit.

One night was enough. We hadn’t realized beforehand that the “Trulli village” is split into two sections about 0.3 km apart and is actually embedded in a modern city, not an independent historic enclave. Communication with the rental company could have been clearer in explaining this, as well as how to find the property and navigate small details. Also, tall visitors should watch their heads on the low ceilings!
