Trulli Uliveto Acquafonda

To be honest nothing, this place was very disappointing. I genuinely don’t understand how they can justify charging over €400 per night for such a run-down property.

The furniture on the terrace and at the pool was very uncomfortable, old, worn, and in poor condition, giving the impression that maintenance not have been a priority. Overall, the place felt dated and in need of refurbishment rather than offering the level of luxury implied by its pricing. At this price point, I expected a significantly higher standard of accomodation, comfort and presentation. There was no nice place to have breakfast outside, just steel table and chairs full in the sun. Shower was in a slippery bath, all very dated. Not charming at all in the style of an old trulli. Sitting area were 2 very uncomfortable chairs with plastic cover to sit on!! Even a lampshade still had plastic from the shop on it. Unfortunately we booked 2 nights and stayed because of the price, but we actually wanted to leave after 1 night. Breakfast was a bag of white buns and a dried out croissant, we even skipped it the last morning. We stayed in around 10 hotels during our trip all around €300-400 and all had amazing standard and service, even in expensive areas like Amalfi coast and lake Como. I will add photos to show

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans les Trullo Luna et Sol. Très bien équipés avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. L'emplacement est idéal pour aller visiter les alentours (voiture fortement conseillée). Un parking couvert est disponible sur place. Enfin, notre hôte Grazia a été fantastique, toujours à notre service et écoute. Un grand merci!

Beautiful cottages situated in a large, fenced area. Each cottage is spaced apart, ensuring privacy. Very good quality. Additionally, there's an outdoor pool and a spa area with a heated pool in a separate building. The service is very friendly. It's worth renting a Trulli cottage to experience the Puglia atmosphere. I recommend it.

The Trulli was cozy and idyllic. The under floor heating was very good. You also have aircon. We didn’t use the gym/spa or the swimming pool. It was tastefully decorated. Very good continental breakfast

Spa charges 150 euros for 2 hours Kitchen sparsely furnished

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous Trulli. The property itself is really well equipped and even bigger than it looks in pictures, with a lovely big bedroom and bathroom. The grounds with the pool are beautifully maintained, and so peaceful. It was only us and another couple staying in the other Trulli, so it was luxurious to have so much space around the big pool and it felt very private. We were really well looked after by the lovely Grazia, who brought us breakfast every morning that had enough for some lunch too. You need a car when staying here but it’s a good distance (1hr) from the airport and we were able to explore Ostuni, Monopoli, Polignano e Mare and Locorotondo easily. Alberobello is very close and Grazia provided us with lots of recommendations and booked us a table at the delicious Olive Garden. Would 100% recommend staying here and hope to be back.

Traditional property - plenty of amenities, spacious, good AC, short drive to Alberobello.

We were disappointed that it costs €150 to use the indoor pool for a couple of hours. We found this out on arrival and it’s not made very clear on the website - at least the exact cost isn’t - it just says additional Charge in fine print. It should be included in the cost of the stay. It was out of action anyway for the majority of our stay. The sun loungers were quite uncomfortable but that’s mostly because I was 6 months pregnant.
