The house is in a great location and the beds were comfy. Siobhan was helpful.

There was nothing like hand soap, washing up liquid or even a sponge or cloth. The WiFi wasn't working on our first day but Siobhan got this sorted for us. The front door was difficult to lock with the key. There was a back and side door but they were both locked and we had no key for them. The living room was cold and felt draughty, the rest of the house was warm though. There wasn't really enough of things in the kitchen, for example, there was only one wine glass and one prosecco glass. There weren't many bowls and some of the cutlery was dirty. The hot water was on a strange schedule and we had to use the boost button if we wanted to use hot water in the evening, for example, to bath our children.

Siobhan was nice to deal with and she tried to get us in the property as early as possible after travelling through the night. The location is fabulous. Just on the edge of town so was lovely to be able to walk everywhere and plenty of safe space for the kids to run around outside. The house is spacious and was very clean.

We visited in August and it was by no means a cheap stay. I was disappointed to find that on arrival there wasn't even any hand soap in the bathrooms. Be prepared to buy the basics (bin bags, toilet roll, dish clothes, soap, washing up liquid) that you would expect when hiring a holiday home for a week. Furthermore the crockery looks like its been put together by whatever people have forgotten to take with them. There were 2 tiny wine glasses and one champagne glass and an array of various mugs, glasses and plates. There were only 5 chairs for 6 people round the table and no. The beds were comfortable but there were no extra covers for the spare pillows. The bathrooms are dated. Very small shower upstairs and the shower downstairs has no pressure as boiling water escapes from the tap that the shower head is connected to. Overall just in need of an update.
