Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is very central, however, due to temporary no pedestrian access at the top of Fairhill St it required a twenty minute walk to get into the Diamond area.

The no access issue at the top of Fairhill Street is clearly beyond the control of the owner as it is due to the safety concern of another building. However, this situation arose approximately a month before our stay and yet we were not informed by the owner. I would have cancelled the booking had I known as the central location was an important reason for making the booking. We ended up having to book taxis to avoid the long walk to the town centre.

Nice touches from the host, milk, tea, coffee and juice. Host met us on arrival and showed us round, explaining heating etc:

The location is great. The house was really clean.

The property has a fantastic location. 102 steps to the threshold of the Boyd Arms! So central. Just round to corner from Co op but on a quiet area. Lots of parking right next to it too. A short stroll to the shops and 10 mins walk from the harbour.

If you like to spend time outside at your property it doesn’t get much sun in the back yard but since we were mostly out that didn’t matter.

The property was located close to the shops and within walking distance of the beach. There was a car park opposite which was very convenient. It was very clean and I loved the fresh flowers in the vase and lovely pots of flowers in the outdoor area. I liked the enclosed area at the back with lovely garden furniture. We had everything we needed and the rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated.

Location was excellent! Co op shop and bars on your doorstep! Host was great at communicating. Can't wait to go back.
