Hideaway House

It reminded me of going to a friend’s house. Really homely and you instantly felt comfortable. It had everything you needed. The host was helpful and checked in that everything was okay and allowed us extra checking out time as the cleaner wouldn’t be due until later in the day. Rooms were big, lots of space.

The first floor bathroom was very cold and the radiator didn’t work.

The location was perfect. The property was very clean and comfortable. Everything you needed was provided. Good quality bedding and towels. Very nicely decorated. Warm and comfortable. Large bedrooms. Beds comfortable Nice to hear the seagulls. Good sized yard. We enjoyed this so much we extended our stay, twice!!

Great location close to shops and seafront. Very clean and cozy, well stocked including tea and coffee. Warm welcoming and rooms were bright and airy. Comfortable beds. Outdoor area was great. Managed to get parking outside.

Heating was great downstairs but top floor double room was a little cool, I wasn’t there long enough to check if radiator was switched on or not.

The size of the property was adequate and location was reasonable for access to the town and beach

The bed linen and towels provided were not very nice and were not as expected compared to the Booking.com photos. We expected crisp white cotton quilt covers and pillows but got overused cheap cotton items. The carpets could do with upgrading. The settees were quite low so uncomfortable for tall people. If you have more than 1 car then the car park across the road does not really meet the needs as there is a max stay of 4 hours so works out expensive.

The location was good. Parking spaces are very limited.

Internet was down. Heating went off.
