Sylvie's Country Cottage North Devon

The log burner! The weather was very cold & wet so having this available was a treat to dry out clothes and snuggle in the evening!

The tractors passing through were quite noisy at first but we seemed to get used to it... the cottage being on a crossroad meant the large lorries and tractors had to stop & start right outside the house. This happened all day and during the night.

Everything was excellent everything you wanted was at the cottage drop your case and start your hoilday.

Apart from the whyf not very good couldn't fault it

Lovely quiet location. Thoughtful touches such as milk, bottled water and cake provided, and toys and books for the children. Sylvia went over and above to ensure we were comfortable.

There was nothing negative at all.

I would have liked a black out blind in the bedroom .

Not far from main road in a quiet location fully equipped cottage with the all necessary amenities for enjoyable stay

Proper country cottage. Very clean and very well equipped.

Parking space was a bit tight. Would have preferred a shower but managed ok with shower over bath. obviously did know when booked property it was shower over bath but didn’t spoil our stay.

nice cottage down a quiet lane, but close to the A39 for easy touring. five minutes walk to the Gnome reserve at Merry Harriers garden centre, which also has a restaurant. cottage well equipped & comfortable and has own private garden. kitchen well equipped if you want to cook, but plenty of good eateries nearby.
