"We had an enjoyable stay as we knew we would - but quality was a little disappointing"

We have stayed here before so knew location was good. Host very responsive, house very clean, beds comfortable and bed linen good quality. Outside terrace well equipped and carefully cleared of leaves following high winds

Owl cottage is a little tired and soulless - lacking art work and sofa and easy chairs have seen better days. Towels are adequate but getting a little thin. Outside terrace is well equipped but in need of updating - it seems a little neglected in design and lighting is in a variety of different light fittings and light bulbs and one glass is broken.
