Annielea is a cosy 3 bed Cottage in Helensburgh

Die Lage ist sehr schön, fast direkt am Wasser. Sehr nah zum Bahnhof und zum Ortskern.

Before the trip the details were sent if all facilities within the house, along with details of local shopping amenities It was very easy accessible,. The whole place was clean, tidy, very welcoming. Had one query and it was answered promptly and friendly. Really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Nothing comes to mind.

Central location close to takeaways and Morrisons (if you have a car). Good location close to Highlands and Glasgow.

House could do with a lick of paint (inside and outside). Some bedrooms quite small. Could do with blinds in the kitchen since overlooked by the main street.

Traveling with 3 children at Christmas we really appreciated the Christmas tree thanks Cosy and comfy

The only thing missing was a coffee machine

Location and size.

Smell of damp in one of the bedrooms. Flooring in various locations was soft and felt like foot might go through the floor. Overpriced for what it was.

The list is extensive Whole house smells damp Bathroom: black mould around window, dead insects on surfaces w/h/b so small that my husband unable to use it for shaving. Ill fitting seal at base of shower screen has sharp edge which caught and cut my foot. Double bedrooms: Hole in floor between bed and window Floor length curtains could not be closed as double bed against the wall/radiator. When I moved bed to try to close curtains I stood in a hole in the floor. Not a recent problem as carpet is wrinkled/depressed into the hole. Bed bases not connected to each other. Lounge/ Dining: roomWires hanging out of wall, stained dirty carpet coffee table stained. Single bedroom Opens directly off lounge making the glass door inappropriate. Kitchen: Cups dusty & stained, fridge freezer dented and scratched, salad drawer missing, drawer in freezer broken. The clothing I unpacked and placed in drawers and wardrobes all felt and smelled of damp when removed. Attached are photos of hole in floor, 1 bed base, mould on bathroom window, ill fitting shower screen. On leaving I spoke to host advising her of our departure and why - she did not accept there is anything wrong with the property.
