Katve Nature Retreat

Lovely quiet place for a break from the city. It was easy to get there, all interactions with the hosts were easy, got briefed on all the features and amenities before arriving. The sauna, fireplace, grill were all excellent. The house was warm, we liked the interior, the bed was comfortable. All in all, a great place to stay!

The communication from the hosts was excellent from the time we booked, they were very responsive and helpful, giving us comprehensive information about the property and ideas for things to do in the area. Every communication was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the sauna. The location was beautiful; so quiet and peaceful, and very scenic. We really managed to recover and recharge. The lake was wonderful and we really appreciated the effort made to keep a hole open in the ice for winter swimming - thank you. Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful stay.

The location and especially the lake is gorgeous! I also really liked the water sport equipment (SUP and rowing boat) that were free to use. Also I saw deer from the kitchen window, how awesome is that?!

I didn’t like that there are three houses, two of them semidetached (so 5 apartments in total) and also the house is not “directly” at the lake. This was never promised in the listing but just something I assumed from the pictures. So don’t expect to lay naked in the sun ;)

Location and the nature were great. The house was so cosy.
