Wayfarer Lodge Studio

It was a comfortable stay in a good location. Very clean and easy to stay in. Nice outside table and bbq to cook on and eat at with a view of the lake.

Wonderful comfortable bed, impeccable condition, beautifully decorated, peaceful setting !

Enjoyed everything

Clear instructions from the hosts well in advance of our arrival, lock box was easily identifiable & the property had everything we needed and more (washing machine, shampoo, all bbq gear including oil & seasoning were there had we wanted/needed). We were lucky enough to have it snow when we stayed (in October!) yet we were toasty and warm with the extra blanket and heat pump available. Amazing tv option selection too with a heap of subsciptions. Great access to lots of walks, it is up the hill out of the main township though which may not suit all travellers (vehicle access recommended).

I personally prefer a 3 ply toilet paper (softer & feels like you use less overall), so this is a small improvement I'd suggest.

We loved the sun drenched front yard with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains surrounding us. The kitchen was ample for our needs , the bed luxurious and the shower had great pressure!

We can’t think of anything we didn’t like

The studio was compact, well appointed, new and fresh. The decor was stunning in neutrals and touches of turquoise/blue. The bathroom - shower etc all excellent. The bed was large and very comfortable with extra bedding supplied for warmth. There was a view of the lake and the little terrace would have been great in a warmer season. The studio is quite private and walkways adjacent that mean there was a sense of space from the other houses.

Our 'didn't' likes are relatively minor but detracted from the fabulous first impressions. The bed was not made properly, with the sheets not tucked in so wrinkled and rode up overnight, the duvet was all askew. This was sloppy and disappointing. There was only 1 wineglass.(4 flutes!) The fridge icebox was choked with ice, and badly needed defrosting. No instructions for the TV. No lounge chairs, although comfortable dining chairs... but not the same as a lounge chair.
