We were so cosy with the fireplace and the overall feel of the lodge. The spa under the star was exceptional.

I wish the couch was a little more comfortable and the bedrooms all need side tables instead of chairs to put the lamps on. Bathroom was lovey but there needs to be a bigger mat to catch the water from the shower.

Great location. Beautiful views. Warm, clean and comfortable with lovely complementary goodies. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Cabin was nice, it was lovely and quiet, which I always look for as I’m noise sensitive. The outdoor spa was nice to have. Fireplace was great and the cabin was warm overnight with the heating in the bedroom.

We just have gone in a peak period (April) as it was super expensive and probably could have rented something similar on AirBnB for a better price given it was self-contained. The under floor heating in the bathroom didn’t work, we called staff to take a look and they said it appeared to be broken, which was very disappointing for the price (and no effort to offer apology).

Loved everything about the hut we stayed in. Barbara Hay had stunning lake views (even while laying in our bed) and the most comfortable beds. An extra special touch was the bread and other treats on arrival. Highly recommend this stay, it was the highlight of our whole 3 weeks trip.

I loved everything, there are so many personal touches that made the stay so much better. The floors are heated in the bathroom, the shower is quite large aswell. The fireplace comes with plenty of wood so you won’t go cold!! Upon arrival you are greeted with beautiful staff and when entering your hut, there are eggs, fresh bread, beers and milk, beautiful touch.
