The house is great, the problem is the people before us used the fire place and the house stunk very bad our entire stay. Due to the weather being warm the smell got worse throughout the day. In addition the furniture is infested with spider mites, both inside out outside couches. This of course was gross, the little spiders were all over so it was very uncomfortable. We brought this to the attention of the owner to which they offered us 150nzd for the inconvenience. We were there 3 nights and paid 4600nzd so that did not seem appropriate. They then just ignore more request when I told them that wasn’t right. I also reached out to booking.com but haven’t heard back from them.

Fantastic setting and facilities! The stuff in kitchen is amazing! And the crews are so sweet they turned the heat on before we arrived, so the welcome-room was so so beautiful-view and also warm. Everything is perfect. And the fireplace is so romantic my son love it so much!
