Check-in and key collection is between 15:00 and 17:00 at the Cairns Alpine Resort Reception, located at 48 DÁrchiac Drive, Lake Tekapo. Our office is on the right just as you drive in, next to the Go Tekapo office. If you expect to arrive after 17:00, please contact us in advance to arrange key collection, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. The Cairns Alpine Resort Accommodations is located at 48 DÁrchiac Drive. The Mount John Homestead is the large white house behind the willow tree about 328 feet down the driveway on the right hand side. Please note that this property will not be serviced for the duration of your stay.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Full of character and history

Outside areas not guest ready. 15 minutes with a blower on the back patio and path to hot tub would have saved me 30 minutes of sweeping. Also had to clean all the chairs as it didn’t seem they had been cleaned for some time. Know it’s hard to organize everything after each guest, but the kid toys and activities were just so scattered and random to render them all pretty useless. So much potential to be an awesome stay but some things just seemed tired and worn and needed a refresh. Even consistent modern light bulbs would feel more updated.
