Heatherhill Farm Cottage in Letterfrack beside Connemara National Park

It was in a pretty setting. It was a spacious home allowing for a large group or family. But not great for a 1 overnight stay, especially with no instructions on how to heat the home on a freezing night!

It was freezing cold in the house with no instructions on how to turn on the heat. The fireplace had no wood! It would be nice to have an information book available to explain the facilities in the house.

Great for groups. Near the village with a shop and some pubs! Loved the animals. Nice walks nearby too!!

Location and it was warm

Bed linens old and uncomfortable. Mattresses uncomfortable. Kitchen utensils poor. Pots and pans were old and needed to be non stick There was not even a spatula or a wooden spoon. Thaa as nkfly there was an air fryer although it was very used so I was able to use this for cooking breakfast.

We come here twice a year for our grandparents anniversary mass. Perfect location, walking distance to Letterfrack village. Would love if check out was a little later but its still manageable. The kids love the farm animals that are roaming freely during the day. We needed to book an extra night this time around and Carmel was very helpful in getting it organised. We'll be back again in April 😊
