Wellstone Cottages - Jasmine with Private Hot Tub

The overall look and style of the cottage was lovely on first impression and the grounds/views were really nice. The hosts were lovely and very helpful :)

There were a lot of things that we realised were not working in the cottage Eg. light switch in bathroom, the kitchen tap didn't run with enough power to wash the dishes. The cottage was understocked and didn't have some of the amenities it claimed to. The main issue was that we found out whilst there that the hot tub was "communal" and it was quite a fair walk to get to it through a very muddy field. The jets/lights on the hot tub were not working either. Also if you are taking dogs, this cottage in particular, although dog friendly, is not safe to let them outside as the garden is not properly enclosed!

Little misleading thought the hot tub was just for us but it was a communal one. It wasn't a problem for us but could be for others

Jasmine was a lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had a wood burner in the lounge and a lovely open plan kitchen diner. Everything we needed. Best of all it's dog friendly.

The one negative I can think of is the garden wasn't enclosed for the dogs. But, there was plenty of open space for long walks so it wasn't too much of an issue.

Nice place to stay

Wonderful place with lots of character and wildlife, very relaxing and quiet. The staff were fantastic and the hosting was exceptional. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful location. nice property. Dan and Les are both very helpful, friendly, and professional. Welcome pack was gorgeous. I would liked to have known if we could have purchased more eggs.

no way to dry towels or washing, towels had to be washed on day one, very smelly indeed. patio too overgrown to be able to sit outside. front bushes also need cutting back to let light in. cottage was not very clean, loads of old cob webs. no reading materials. we had to tighten up the bolts on the double bed upstairs as it was very loose and noisy when used . Shame the lake/pond water level dropped everyday (this was the main feature of my booking this property). I couldn't swim around.
