Grotta Sognare

Grotta Sognare was a beautiful and very spacious property in a great location. Being able to hear the waves and see the Temple of Apollo from our room was amazing. The house is huge and very well furnished, including the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Our host, Elizabet, spoiled us with daily home cooked snacks, which was a very nice surprise. Great value for the price!

There are several small maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Burnt our light bulbs, broken window blind, and a window the didn't open/close properly. Just a minor inconvenience and we would stay again.

Very nice and generous host. Stunning wiew and very convenient for 2. Confy bed. Good restaurant next door.

Shower didn't work well but will be fixed. No door to bathroom. Kitchenette very basic.

It is right on the beach and minutes walk from Naxos port where the night life is active. Also, the supermarket is right across the street and they have a restaurant inside the property. the place is spacious and overall a good place to enjoy with friends and family.

There are few things. the property after evening looks dark and gloomy. even though it is right on the Main Street. The place looks little gloomy as there are practically very few lights outside the property. I was promised that one bulb or light will be placed on the main door but that never Happened and it looks a little scary at night. the bathroom actually has no door. it is PVC material which folds and if someone uses the washroom to poop the entire room will smell bad. the bathroom is too small. the kitchen utensils are dirty so please wash them well before using. most important no one speaks English neither the property owner nor the care taker so you are going to have a hard time talking to them. and please change the TV set it is so small and only has Greek channels.

excellent location just minutes from the town and port. very for daily welcome with flexible check-in time.

no working washing machine, but the owner very kindly aggreed to do it for us and there is a laundry across the street.

Convenient to Old Town Naxos. Good sized living room/ bedroom area. The bed was great. The view of Apollo’s Temple was very good.

The kitchen and bathroom were small. The shower was awkward. There was no microwave.

The shower, kitchen and WHBasin are extremely cramped and form a narrow corridor alongside each other. The pictures of the unit do not reasonably represent the ground floor accommodation. The ‘beach’ in front and in the sea is pebbled and extremely difficult to walk on and swim. The t.v. was o/o/o and Landlady not contactable for 3 days. We certainly wouldn’t return.

The location was excellent! There was coffee available for the morning. The apartment was a nice size. The views were great. There was a large outdoor deck overlooking the water.

The apartment was outdated and could use some fixing up.

The location was perfect, close enough to the action but quiet at night. If you are lucky, the host will bring you some of the best Greek homemade dishes you will have on your vacation!

Everything was great with the accommodations!! After reading the reviews from previous guest we knew to pack water shoes so as to enjoy the beach area in front of our room. Beautiful sandy beaches however are a short bus ride away.
