My friend and I really liked the fact that it was a self-contained cottage with 2 double bedrooms with one upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the linens clean. Only a stone's throw from the lovely beach to go for long walks and beautiful views. We visited 5 restaurants for brunch and dinners and enjoyed them all. We found the Paternoster people really friendly and chatty. Overall, we enjoyed the break. The security company are really good and it made us feel safe.

The cottage had everything that was needed but the shabby chic look is rather tired and needs refurbishing. The lounge seats are really uncomfortable to sit and watch TV. Everything that is used on a regular basis is clean like crockery, pans, bed linens and towels but sorry to say it needed a good clean underneath. The lampshades are really dusty, all the woodwork needs cleaning and the bedside and bathroom mats needed washing. The kitchen sink and cooker area had lovely copper fitting that were sticky and would look beautiful polished. We also thought the stairs would be better with a handrail and the 2 bedrooms needed plug outlets that you could get to for your hairdryer and cell and laptops.

Beach and food was Amazing.Staff absolutely incredible.

Woke up to alot of noise in the morning. Due to renovations couldn't sleep peacefully.

Milky way the venue was outstanding very quite which was excellent.

First night next door was bit noisy and furniture a bit dated.

very good location….almost on beach, easy walk to beach and restaurants, would have loved more of a sea view, very little of a view…. was bit from main bedroom balcony

Wooden doors on side to get to the property need some fixing, we could only open one of the doors….

The location was lovely and very close to the beach although there is not much of a sea view. It is a quaint unit. The dishwasher was a real bonus! When we reported the lights not working and the downstairs shower drain was blocked, it was dealt with very efficiently for which we were very grateful.

Although it is a self catering unit, we found it slightly ill equipped for self catering. We found the pots and pans available for self catering were not adequate - to make some Jungle Oats or to keep the meat in with a braai. There was no real space to store groceries and the kettle area to keep tea and coffee etc was very small. We only spent 2 nights there so we could manage but if you were to stay longer it would be a real challenge.

House was well equipped , would rate it a 9/10 .. if it wasn’t for the vagrants!

Unfortunately there is a lot of vagrants / street people around.. we had one jump our wall.. and enter into the house even ! Did not feel safe!, but the house is very nicely kept and has everything you need It is just unfortunate about the vagrants..
