It was well equipped, and it was situated well, close to everything, the views from upstairs were breathtaking and the braai are was amazing we had lots of fun nights there

the mussel shells outside a sharp piece went through my husbands slops and cut his foot that it was bleeding.

Everything was in walking distance We had spices, coffee and tea and milk (all the essentials already there)

I wish the 2nd room (not the kids room) matched the main bedroom (so i was a little jealous)

We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with equipment! For foodies it was great not to drag a bunch of stuff with for cooking. Also loved that there was heaters in all the rooms as well as electric blankets. The fire place inside is a win during the cold winter months.

The Nespresso machine does not work. The small double bedroom can do with some extra hooks for towels in the bathroom. The main bathroom, main bedroom and ensuite doors could not close. A bit shy on teaspoons.

Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Comfortable. Lovely view deck upstairs.

Although perched on the top of the hill with a stunning view from the deck and close to the waterfront, the property isn’t in the greatest position. Security is a concern and the gate lockup system is a pain. Difficult to lock and unlock and really needs to be addressed - previous guests have mentioned this. We also had a jackhammer going for most of Saturday with renovations next door. Understandably nothing that the owner could control, but not very pleasant. Fortunately the weather held up so we could get out.

A very well equipped cottage, Lise ( the owner)thought about everything , you can tell all the love she poured into her cottage from every angle. Paternoster is those little towns that you wish that they stay hidden to avoid over development. It’s worth a visit and hopefully it maintains its authenticity for a while.

I really appreciate it when a place is fully stocked with amenities. Milk, olive oil, spices, tea, salt, pepper. You don't want to be buying these things for a 2 night stay. Also, every room was equipped with high quality items. Very clean and comfortable.

The front gate is a bit tricky to open with the padlocks. It's probably much easier once you get used to it, but it would have been nicer if the system was a bit more modern. Or maybe a pedestrian gate, since it's such a lovely town to go for a walk.
