This secluded log cottage has a terrace and outdoor furniture. There is also a well-equipped BBQ hut with BBQ equipment. The cottage has a seating area with fireplace, bed, sofa bed and a kitchenette with dining area, stove, fridge and microwave. A private lakeside sauna with panorama window and an ecotoilet are included. There is no shower, but guests can warm water to wash in the wood-heated sauna. The sandy and rock bottomed beach next to the sauna is excellent for swimming as well as fishing. Quiet location in a beautiful place with views over the lake Vehkajärvi - a piece of the most beautiful Finland!

Kaunis ympäristö, hiljainen, taidenäyttely ja tynnyrisauna olivat kivat

Lämmityslaite aitassa ei ollut ollut käytössä hetkeen, se alkoi haista kun kokeilimme laittaa sitä päälle. Yöpyminen ja aamiainen veloittui tuplasti eikä raha ollut palautunut seuraavana arkipäivänä. Aamiainen oli pettymys, koska siitä maksoimme saman verran kuin olisimme hotellissa maksaneet, mutta vaikutti kuin olisimme saaneet suuremmaksi osaksi jämiä kuluneelta viikolta, leipä oli kuivaa ja puuro jämähtänyt.

Ihana luomuaamupala, paljon lomatilan omasta maasta kerättyä! Panoraamamökki tunnelmallinen ja omassa rauhassaan, upea näkymä järvelle. Vieressä oleva ulkosuihku elämyksellinen! Aivan viereisellä rannalla oli täydellistä uiskennella, vesi oli kirkasta ja hiekkapohja hyvä. Erittäin ystävällinen ja symppis emäntä. Taidenäyttely oli hieno lisä.

One of a kind location that felt very Finnish. We slept in a converted 200 year old barn on a farm in the middle of the Finnish countryside. An outdoor shower, a cosy local pub 3 kilometres away in Wanha, local artist works on display on the property. We had a wood heated barrel sauna and lake to ourselves for a few hours. The breakfast was local product and tasty. Anneli was a great host.

Very beautiful location with nice atmosphere. Also very calm and quiet place. Breakfast highly recommended, good local ingredients. Also beautiful art around on yards and barns due to art exhibition (free, no entry fee).

The location was great, sauna and boat were amazing, also the BBQ place near the lake. The host very friendly and helpful. There is a gallery which you can visit and spen some time in an interesting place. Good Access to the lake and sauna.

Facilities were like in the camping site. Or in some cases the camping's we stayed in were better conditions. The shower was outside with no roof. Hot water though. The kitchen was to be shared very limited. I guess for this money you should expect more.

Very authentic and adventurous stay in the middle of beautiful nature! Anneli was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely come back - maybe with warmer clothes next time 😉

The eco toilet and the outdoor shower were a little unexpected but definitely added to the experience in a fun way!
