The ac wasn't strong enough to cool the room but when combined with the fan it worked fine.

The ambiance is beautiful. The condo is very nice, simple but comfortable. The view is amazing. Nice place for a couple if you want privacy. Private swimming pool, free karaoke. Also the food was delicious. Quiet location. The host is very kind and responsible. Thanks for showing us the nice beach.

WARNING: CONTAMINATED WATER AND FOOD. DO NOT drink from water containers pictured below, or eat food cooked with it. Both myself and my girlfriend (Filipina from province) were sick for 4 days. Hostess admits her Australian boyfriend was also sick from this water for a week, but she never warned us! On last day, I asked her to prepare food with water boiled for 5 minutes, but she obviously didn’t because we got sick AGAIN. She charged us FULL PRICE for bottled water we were forced to drink after getting sick, and FULL PRICE for food that made us sick, but we paid (photo below) because she threatened to call police. Nasty person!! Other issues: old shower heater (photo below) worked 1/2 the time and with a trickle of water pressure, thousands of ants in kitchen and bathroom get into your clothes and all over your body, the ‘waterfront’ areas within 5km are swamps that stink of sewage and death. SUMMARY: This place is the Philippines version of the movie “Deliverance.” It is a nightmare. Ignore my warning at your own cost.

This is a unique property in many ways. It is a single unit on top of a hill overlooking the jungle, village and sea. It has a long balcony and private pool, two bedrooms and a spacious living and dining room. The host was super friendly and helpful. The food was great with large portions.

It was a bit far from the sea and finding a place to swim was not easy. This is more of a jungle experience than a sea experience.

Location is a bit out of the way but the view from the property is very nice and the location is very quiet, you can only hear birds. If you need to relax for a few days this is the place. Joan is a very helpful host, always ready to help you to plan transport and visits around Samal island.

The staff & their friendliness was outstanding. They were always around to help and provide information. I didnt realise the staff provided restaurant style cooking/menu and an excellent drinks selection
