The house is simply amazing, staying there was a wonderful experience for two art historians in love with Sighișoara for decades. What they did with a house probably about 500 years old at this point, how they managed to keep its authentic soul while offering all the modern comfort, is wonderful. It's very tastefully decorated with authentic antique light fixtures, furniture, books, and textiles. The aesthetic is just unbeatable for anyone passionate about the history of the place. I've (and later we) stayed in many places in Sighișoara over the years, and they were all great, but this is the one that definitely ends our 'perfect Sighișoara place' search. We'll be gladly coming back. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, the whole bathroom was functional and comfortable, as well as minimalistic and beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean, from the house itself and every single surface, to the towels and bed linens. We didn't use the kitchen, so I can't say much about it, aside from the fact that it was very clean and well-equipped with utensils and dishes. Though it's not air conditioned, you quickly realize that you don't really need AC even in the dead of summer. As sweltering hot as it may be outside (and it was, during our stay), inside it's incredibly cool, because of how thick and sturdy the walls are. It's a very well-made old house. And the photos don't do it justice. It's huge for Sighișoara! One thing though, the second bed is in a connection room, so for two couples it might be a privacy issue. For a family with kids or just one couple, it's perfect. The hosts were very relaxed and discreet, made sure we would call them if we needed anything, and then left us to our own devices. It's right at the bottom of the covered stairway to the school on the hill, so many people stop and talk and take photos.

The wooden furniture gives the room a nice touch if you like it
