The Bothy of Ballachulish House

It was quaint. Alexander who welcomed us was friendly.

We received instructions to get there, but not how to access the property. As it happens Alexander was expecting to welcome us on arrival but would have been helpful to know this. Rooms very small, double bed only accessible from one side. Derelict cars out the front off putting. No terrestrial channels on TV

We loved our stay at this property! We were a group of 4 and found there was plenty of space. The bothy was charming and felt like home, and the hosts were very friendly. It is located in a beautiful setting with gardens and scenic views, and minutes from Glencoe. There is a delicious food truck at the bottom of the road. We just loved our stay!

We really loved this place. Normally stay in 4* hotels but we have a new additional noisy dog. The house was so quaint and full of character and in such historic atmospheric grounds. Everything was perfect but I especially liked the quality linen on the beds and the small antique bath with very hot water. My own suggestion would be an extra chair to sit on other than the coach and it was a bit of a squeeze for the 3 of us. Highly recommended and good value fr money.

Lovely location and cute house. Too small for 3 of us. Sink taps were not mixers and water got extremely hot. Found mouldy filter in coffee maker which worried us using anything else. It would also help if directions explained that the house is located within a log cabin resort -“Woodland …”. We were lost and couldn’t get hold of owner to confirm location despite leaving messages.

Host is a great guy, very helpful and super kind.

Good location, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Good WiFi. Real fire. Lots of helpful things in the kitchen.
