Villa Serretes

Had contact with the property manager. Clear instructions before we arrived. Beautiful views from all floors. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels. Generally very relaxing. Nice short walk to a yummy tapas place. Short trip but very relaxing.

Would have been good to know about the deposit that is taken on arrival as that wasn't clear at the booking. Kitchen could be a bit updated compared to the rest of the villa but it is functional.

La pulizia delle stoviglie e della cucina. C’era del cibo aperto. C’era un topo in giardino. La cucina è troppo vecchia.

We put down a refundable holding deposit over 9 days ago to which the client still has not paid us back and told us this has not been received. They’re now ignoring me and this is a scam which will be reported and will make sure no one stays here again.

The property was a disaster from start to finish.

The villa manager was extremely rude, she told us to meet her at the property at a specific time only to then make us wait on the doorstep for an hour. There were lots of things not working in the villa including lights and sockets, broken shelves, wifi that would drop out for hours and numerous power cuts. We were given dirty towels, cups and cutlery too. The location is not accurate as the supermarket is a 20 minute walk and the beach is 45 minutes away. Taxis also do not like to come here as it is so remote. Didn’t get any sleep on the sofa bed as it was so uncomfortable! I was also charged over £1000 on my card for a deposit when I was reassured it would only be a hold on my card.

The villa looks very nice, it is quite big and spacious. Nice location in front of Es vedra. Ideal for a big group or family weekend. They allowed us to do the check in before scheduled time.

The fact that a person has to handover the keys by hand, does not allow much flexibility at check in (you need to be there at the time suggested by the property). Rules of the house are quite strict. There is a crane in front of the house that ruins the view to Es Vedra. Pictures did not match the view from the villa.

The villas location and views were incredible. The beds were very comfortable.

The host was extremely rude. The property had no electricity when we arrived and most of our first morning in the villa. The host made light of this and did not see it as an issue. The pool decking is broken in places and potentially dangerous. All round the properties furniture and amenities are very basic, you’d definitely expect more for the money being charged.
