Uptown City Haven - Christchurch Townhouse

there are plenty of towels to use. That's the only positive thing about this booking.

Nothing is likeable except the towels. Very disappointing. The wrong access code given to us ruins our whole trip!! We had to spend a freezing night in the car as we arrived at 1.00am. The owner was confirmed of our arrival time and still did not check the access code.No communications were available to us until the next morning. The excuse we got was the system has changed the code !!! We are all now sick and the children's asthma gets worst.

Great location, comfortable and spacious

Unfortunately we had issues with plumbing, flooded pipes which we had to clean up. A Plumber was called which was good. Electricians came to install a heat pump so no heating until the last day of our stay, other than a little heater. Not ideal on a four day holiday having two lots of tradies in our space. Dishwasher out of action also. Bach care did suggest a compensation for our inconveniences but we have yet to hear back from anyone?

Few things. Very poor lighting in the house, needed a torch to read. Bed in sunroom was too small for medium sized adult. Metal kitchen chairs were very cold and uncomfortable. Need padded seats. Insufficient parking outside either on the street or Infront of the house. No bedside lighting in bed room 1
