A perfect, secluded property in the heart of the countryside. Close to de Hoop nature reserve. Beautiful scenery in the fields around us. The house itself has been perfectly renovated. It doesn’t have electricity, but it is set up for that with battery lights and candles. Make sure to bring all you need food-wise (good supermarket in Swellendamm). We had a romantic dinner, then used the fantastic wood fired hot tub and were lucky enough to star gaze and see the milky way!

Nothing. Only bear in mind that it is very secluded so you should arrive before dark to follow the directions and get settled in

The atmosphere at this place is amazing. Everything is taken care of and has attention to every detail. Hosts are really welcoming and despite the drive to get there it is definitely worth it. The outdoor shower is great!

It was a very cozy accomodation and the Communication with the host was perfect. This place is perfect for escaping every trouble you have.

Die Blouhuis is an amazing house in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for anybody who loves to spend a couple of days alone in the nature. The rooms are decorated with love and the outside shower is amazing. No electricity but therefore breathtaking views and especially a sky full of stars that we would prefer over Netflix every time. De Hoop Nature Reserve is close by and definitely worth a visit. The host family is just incredibly kind and welcoming and we loved to talk to them! We will definitely be back one day :)

The location of the house is great because its surrounded by endless fields. We never saw a starry sky like we did there next to a nice bonfire. The owner is super friendly and supportive with information and ideas what to do.
