Green Field Cottage at Ardenvale Self Catering

The location is amazing with a view on the glen right in front and the Ben Nevis to the left. There's a nice walk nearby along the river and through the woods. The cottage is small, simple and convenient.

The cottage was a bit cold, especially the floor. The water in the kitchen was lukewarm (shower was fine, with a separate Mira heater). The double bed could be bigger and the mattress was a bit hard for my taste, although that already felt better the second night.

Excellent location (you can check out Ben Nevis anytime!) property was clean and with everything we needed. I would recommend this place and will definitely come back if in the area.

Location is amazing, 5 mins away from Ben Nevis gondola , 10 mins away from fort William centre , hence out in the open. Easy to navigate to, good parking spaces , well equipped with all necessities, very clean and tastefully decorated, comfortable beds , good shower and toilet etc.

The heating system could be less complicated, each heater has a control panel that needs to be unlocked by keeping + & - pressed together, then temp adjustments can be made ( difficult for those not acquainted with the same model) , there was a cold air leaking into the toilet from somewhere around the window there. These are minor things , Paul and Luh were always very helpful and quick to respond.

Friendly place in a great location 👌 Only thing I regret is not have stayed for longer time, we didn't have time to axplore the area. Many thanks to the owners!

Good location, attractions nearby, on site parking, comfortable beds, apartment is well equipped . We have had lovely time while staying at the property!
